Real twilight, virtual twilight, and which one your listing needs

Two different products at two different prices. The cheaper one is the right answer more often than agents expect.

Real twilight, $200. The photographer comes back at sunset and shoots the house lit, inside lights on, in the short window when the sky still has color in it.
Five virtual twilights, $75. Our editors take the daytime exteriors we already shot and re-light them to dusk by hand. A person works each frame. It is not a filter and it is not a generated image of some other house.
When real twilight is worth the difference. Landscape lighting, a lit pool, big glass that glows from inside, or a view that only reads at dusk. If the house has those, the return visit pays for itself in the first frame.
When virtual covers it. Everything else. A clean stucco elevation with no landscape lighting looks close to identical either way, at a third of the price.
Already included in Sedona at the top two tiers. Signature at $525 includes one real twilight session and Luxury Reveal at $799 includes two, because red rock at dusk is most of why people book Sedona.
It is usually the frame buyers click. Twilight is the cover shot for most listings above $400K. We price it as an add-on rather than folding it into every package, because plenty of listings do not need it.

Common questions

How much does twilight real estate photography cost?

A real twilight session, where the photographer returns at sunset, is $200. Five virtual twilights, hand-edited from the daytime exteriors, are $75. In Sedona, real twilight is already included in the Signature ($525) and Luxury Reveal ($799) tiers.

What is the difference between real and virtual twilight?

Real twilight is a second visit at sunset with the house lit and shot as it actually looks. Virtual twilight is our editors re-lighting the daytime exterior of the same property by hand. Real twilight captures glowing windows and landscape lighting that no edit can invent. Virtual twilight gets you most of the drama on a house that has nothing lit to begin with.

Is virtual twilight allowed on the MLS?

The frames are edited from photographs of the actual property, never composited from another home. Most MLS boards allow enhanced images as long as the change is disclosed in the photo description, so check your board's rule and note it there.

Which listings should buy the real twilight session?

Homes with landscape lighting, a lit pool or spa, large glass elevations, or a mountain, water or red rock backdrop. Those are the listings where the difference between $75 and $200 shows up on screen.

Can I add twilight to a shoot I already booked?

Yes, as long as we have not shot it yet. Reply to your confirmation email and we will add it and send an updated total.

Which areas do you cover?

Nine Arizona metros (Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Chandler, Surprise, Tucson and Sedona) plus southeast Idaho, which covers Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Rigby, Island Park and Ashton, and Jackson, Wyoming.
